Volunteers - a priceless Resource!

 Fort Garry Lions Football Club appreciates and values our volunteers!  Without volunteers we could never do what we do.  There are many areas in which you can volunteer from canteen to coaching.  Whether you prefer  to be out on the field, managing a team, moving the chains or behind the scenes working on fund-raising or promoting the club,  YOUR skills are needed.  There are opportunities for you to help make your football club even better than it is.

Volunteer Opportunities 

Your club is in need of volunteers for the following positions during the upcoming football season.

Canteen Director 

At this time we require someone (or more than one; sharing is nice) to coordinate the affairs of the canteen. Everyone can  appreciate how much it adds to our game day experience to have a readily available cold drinks or slushies on the hot days, and perogies, coffee, and hot chocolate on those cooler fall days. This is a vital role and is so appreciated by everyone!

Bomber 50/50 Ticket Sellers

 Come on you Blue Bomber Fans!!! Here's your big chance.

 All we need to do is have one adult sell 50/50 tickets before the game, and up until the end of the 1st Quarter, for each home game. After that you are able to go watch the rest of the game.!!!! How sweet is that?

Bud Spud and Steak Night

We require a Coordinator for this yearly event. Last year’s coordinators have offered to help out whoever steps up to take this on. Overall, we would require a group of about 6-8 people to help pull this event off. It is usually held in late September, and is a great evening to socialize with the parents that you have sat next to all year, cheering on your kids.
